Day 90 -- I can't stop snacking!!
I'm so frustrated with myself today! For the whole day (minus the time I'm not in dorm), I'd been snacking away. And that was on top of my normal meals :(
So I was discussing this issue with Miyuki on our way out for dinner trying to find out the reason behind my binge snacking, as I will call it. Perhaps it's because I have nothing much to do in the dorm and hence my mouth will itch for snacks. Oh wells..
On a happier note, I got back my last mid terms paper today and I'm glad to say I passed with flying colours!! I got a whooping 95 for it! Seems like it's the best grades I'd been awarded in years! But now that all the midterms had been returned. It's time to prepare for the finals.
Oh gosh! 5 more academic weeks, 6 more weeks in Taiwan :O Time really flies :((

Day 72 -- End of hell week!
I'm already making plans for the long weekends and I really hope I can fulfil them, one by one. Now it's time to crash 'cause I'm dead beat.

Day 71 -- Mugging day
I can't even remember when was the last time I studied so hard for, erm Mid terms? This is really unheard of from me I think. But this only shows that I got to buck up in order to ensure I can get all my credits transferred back in NTU #sadlifedoesn'tendhere
And I do think I'm getting less and less resilient to stress. Looking at the amount of snacks I had just now and the urge to club right after all these papers are strong evidence I need to build up on my stress management. It seems like the stress-resilient Vivience wasn't brought along in this trip.
Back to my notes again.. And hopefully I can sleep by 3~

Day 58 -- What a tiring day
Firstly, I had a really terrible insomnia. Just imagine it's such a hectic school day for me and all I had was only 4 hours of unfitful sleep. Wasted (literally) 1+ hour at the police station because of some dispute with my debit card, but it's been resolved.
Anyway, I've got a presentation just now, and I SCREWED IT BIG TIME. No exaggeration. I meant it. I thought I was quite well prepared. Yet, when it's my turn to lead the class into the activity I'm in charge of, I couldn't and worse still I forgot what I'd prepared beforehand. Without any notes to refer to, you can sort of have an idea how bad I fare for this presentation. And all I'm left with is the fnal assignment coming in a few weeks time. Hopefully by then I can score better.
Right now, I'm making myself really tired so I can have a proper sleep tonight. Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow, it'll be a better ahead!
Ciao~

Day 43 -- It's midweek (again)
Monday, 24 March 2014
Day 40, 41 -- Viv isn't feeling too good
Shall do a combined post today because I ain't feeling too well now. Where it all started from (I think), my brunch yesterday.
For the first time in my stay here I decided to have those traditional milk tea in the breakfast store, but right after I finished it, my stomach began to churn, something like an indigestion T.T
And to cut things short, it got so bad in the middle of the night that I got a bad case of gastritis that kept me from sleeping properly and also a bad bad headache this morning.
Worse still, the convenient stalls here don't sell antacid and I'm already unwell as it is to get out of school to get it -.- oh well, I just hope that my gastric will not worsen, or till I feel better to get out of school to get it :(
Ok, end of my rants and thanks for putting up with this!

Day 23 -- Waking up on the wrong side of the bed
And the bad day just continued with me getting my first assignment back. And all I saw was ssome really demoralising comments on my work and a big fat cross. The teacher later explained that those with the crosses meant that the work was not up on par A.K.A I'd failed the first assignment :'( What a joke, seriously. Throughout my 3 years in NTU, no matter how tough the module may be, I'd never failed any assignments. Yet, I got an U grade for my first assignment in Taiwan. Saying that I'm not affected will be a lie, but I'm not allowing this failure to deter me from doing a better job in the future! I am sure I can conquer this module!
But the night ended well with me going out for dinner with some classmates after our lesson. The dumplings were so good and they say there are better ones which we had made plans to go together soon! On the way back to the dorm, I went to attend the photography club's introduction session and to my surprise, I saw Alice and her friend in the auditorium! What a coincidence!
I really salute Alice. Other having to clear 30 credits this semester and a member of the Guitar Club, she's also playing table tennis for her faculty and still very involved in other campus activities as well! She is really a true-blue super woman!
Now it's time for the books because I can't allow myself to have another failure here. See yea~
